Event Summary & Narrative
My first face-to-face live speakership — a full-day hands-on workshop on AWS data systems, running from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Designed and facilitated the entire session around three core AWS data services: Amazon S3 for object storage and data lake foundations, Amazon RDS for managed relational databases, and Amazon DynamoDB for real-time NoSQL workloads. The format was fully hands-on — attendees built and interacted with each service live, moving from raw storage to structured queries to low-latency key-value access. The goal was to give participants a practical, end-to-end mental model of how data flows through a cloud-native architecture — from ingestion and storage to retrieval and management — grounded in real AWS infrastructure rather than slides alone.
