Competed in the GDG on Campus PUP Gemini AI Study Jam — a face-to-face mini hackathon held at White Cloak Technologies — and walked away with 1st Place alongside teammates Shelou Mae Rosales, Christine Rio, and Raphael Johnathan Flores. The challenge was an intensive build-and-pitch day that pushed the team to leverage Google AI Studio and Gemini to its full potential. The core personal takeaway was practical: understanding how to engineer precise, purposeful prompts to unlock AI as a real development accelerator — not just an automation layer, but a tool that surfaces ideas that would not have emerged otherwise. A strong reminder that in AI-driven hackathons, how you communicate with the model is just as important as how you write the code.
